​Verse of Silence officially presents its first-ever online Poetry Writing Workshop. The workshop will be taken by our Founder and Editor-in-chief Kavya Sharma. The 2.5-3 hour-long the workshop intends to provide you with the tips and tricks of writing poems. From the very basics of conceptualizing an idea to write poems on, to the tools you can use to make your poetry stand out, with a special focus on contemporary poetry/poets to learn the art of writing-

3. Micro tales/poems
4. Confessional Poetry
5. Ekphrastic Poetry
Everything along with some fun writing exercises will be covered in this workshop.

​About Kavya Sharma
Kavya is an author, poet and editor. In terms of Novels, Kavya has two individual books to her name i.e.To Naddiyaa and The Carmine Memories and is about to release her 3rd book in the year 2020. She has edited over 20 novels/books till date and has conceptualized and worked on various commissioned projects and poetry anthology projects such as The 7 Transgressions, A
Map Called Home, Poetry in Pamphlets, The Pink Commandoes, From Being Chained to being the Change, etc.
Her poems/stories have been featured in over 30 online and offline magazines. Two of her audio stories are on Audible Suno App.
She has mentored over 500 students through her online workshops until now and has taken Creative Writing/Novel Writing workshops for various schools/colleges and publishing houses in and around Delhi.
Kavya has been featured and interviewed by various newspapers including The Asian News, Deccan Chronicle, The Sunday Guardian, Zoom Delhi, The Himachal Times,
Women Era Magazine, etc.
